Wanted TV for several months. I decided on this one reason to read the specifications / reviews and check it out in the shop "Bang for Buck" image and sound great. Beautiful color. The blacks are the shadows were very crisp and good contrast. I like that I can customize the settings of about 20 with a good calibration disc. The screen is a semi-matte finish. Windows Vista at home and look at the rules of the sport weekend off Samsung plasma and LCD because of the high-reflection on the Samsung rated higher.
There is not flash the lights in the corners. Difficult to avoid with large LCD. I took about four-inch patch of turbidity in the lower right. E 'was found only after tweaking the settings, look for it
A swivel stand would be better. Maybe Sony will make this change.
Now is the stupidest thing Sony has done IMO: They made 3 of 4 HDMI outputs on the side. Now I have 3 wires protruding from my TV. You really tuck them in hard to almost hide them. The emphasis on cables and connectors imports. Someone tell me why Sony did this. Big deal for me.
